Student Support

Primary One Adaptation

Starting from the next semester, our school will arrange some courses and activities to assist senior students to experience Primary One life and help them prepare for Primary One.

Activities include arranging for students to go to friendly primary schools for simulated classes and practical experience. Parents will also be arranged to visit primary schools and arrange lectures for senior students to primary one, striving to help students and parents adapt to primary one life.

Non-Chinese Speaking Support Service

School has teachers to support non-Chinese speaking children to learn Chinese. Through group activities,  group discussion and community visits, we encourage and support non-Chinese speaking students and their families to integrate into school life and society, helping them to adapt the local education system and learn Chinese, and create a happy life and social inclusive culture.

Social Work Service

In September 2024, our school partnered with Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service to implement the "Social Work Services Pilot Programme." This program provides professional social work services stationed at the school to support the needs of preschool children, their parents, caregivers, and teaching staff.

Our school's social worker is stationed at the school on Tuesdays and Fridays. The primary role is to provide support and counseling for students and families, including offering groups for students/parents, following up with families in need on a case-by-case basis, helping students develop problem-solving skills, self-care abilities, resilience, or enhancing parenting skills of the parents.

On-site Pre - school Rehabilitation Services

Allowing young children with special needs to receive timely and necessary support is essential to their golden age of development. Our school has become a partner of the Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong's "SMILE” on-site Pre-school integrated Services.

Consist of social workers, clinical/educational psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and special childcare workers, our interdisciplinary service teams provide on-site services, centre-based training and community support for pre-school children with special needs.
